TMG IT
Consultancy, in collaboration with BAE SYSTEMS developed
a 3D Urban Visualisation application which provided a pivotal
role within a project initiated by the Office of the Deputy
Prime Minister (ODPM). The ‘proof of concept’
project enabled a better understanding of disaster scenarios
during pre-incident planning, incident management and post-incident
normalisation and review.

UFI
The
areas in which TMG has been contracted to work as consultants
include business process mapping, the development of a framework
for creating sound business plans by learndirect
hubs and centres, business process re-engineering, and full
documentation of these processes. Most recently, TMG has
worked closely with Ufi in the development of processes
for bringing new learndirect centres into
the network and managing them throughout their life, together
with the design and implementation of a new on-line system
for maintaining the data needed to manage the centres.

Cheshire
Fire and Rescue Service
We have worked with Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service
for a number of years and in a number of ways. TMG’s
Support Contract offers resource and expertise to Cheshire
Fire and Rescue Service’s own in-house ICT department
for Server and Infrastructure support. From time to time
we also undertake technology project work.
At the forefront of this technology is Windows Server with
Active Directory, Citrix Metaframe XP, Microsoft Exchange
Server, SQL Server and SMS, amongst others.
Furthermore, TMG consultants have provided e-government
and associated strategy support.

ICI
TMG IT has worked, and continues to work, with ICI at Wilton,
Teesside and Runcorn for a number of years.
Our main role is offering Support Contracts and Project
Work around Microsoft and Lotus Notes products for ICI Science
Technology Group, ICI’s Group Technology Office, and
ICI’s Regional Measurement Sciences Group. We have
permanent staff on site to support these groups. From server,
through infrastructure, to desktop they have all of their
IT support needs covered.”

Wilton
Centre
Network support, Server Builds, and software application
support including Microsoft Office, MS Server 2003 and Lotus
Notes are delivered by a Help Desk operation covering some
500 users across several sites. Service Level Agreements
are met by having on-site staff in addition to offering
a remote service.

Of Poole
TMG worked in partnership with Borough of Poole in the preparation
of a business requirements definition and Invitation to
Tender for an Integrated Property Management System. The
process involved review of relevant documentation and consultation
with personnel at all levels across the Property Services
area.
